The hotel architecture reflected a nubian style i found captivating. the staff were really helpful. They quickly arranged transport. organic food was available. I enjoyed the fresh flavours.
The jacuzzi in my suite wasn't working properly . It was impossible to fill. this was disappointing given the room rate! there was also no privacy as it was near the pool.

The location offers amazing views of the nile, the dam, and nearby islands. the staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any request (they really were very good!). i appreciated the personal touch. When i booked a tour, someone from the staff checked in to see how i enjoyed it. the hotel's architecture is authentic, incorporating ancient egyptian and nubian history into its design.
the wifi was patchy at times, mostly working only in the reception area.

access was difficult because of the steep hill it sat upon. this made getting around costly. the wifi never worked .
